Appel de candidature pour le showcase de FOLQUÉBEC à la Conférence OCFF- Ottawa, Ontario 14-17 octobre 2010

À l’occasion de la Conférence OCFF (Ontario Council of Folk Festivals) du 14-17 octobre 2010, Folquébec poursuit sa volonté d’organiser la visibilité et le rayonnement des artistes d’ici sur la scène nationale et internationale.

FOLQUÉBEC invite cette année les artistes à proposer leur candidature afin de participer à l’OCFF.

Le jury sélectionnera 8 artistes, qui auront l’opportunité de jouer :

- Lors du OCFF, à Ottawa, soit le vendredi 15, ou le samedi 16 octobre

Pour chaque artiste : une prestation de 20 minutes et la possibilité d’une présence de diffuseurs nationaux et internationaux.

For the OCFF Conference (Ontario Council of Folk Festivals) from October 14-17 2010, Folquébec continues its mission to bring Quebec artists visibility on the national and international scene.

Reminder: FOLQUÉBEC is a Québec-registered not-for-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and diffusion of folk music made in Québec.

FOLQUÉBEC invites artists to apply to showcase at the 2010 OCFF conference.

The jury will select 8 artists, who will have the opportunity to play:

- During the OCFF in Ottawa, either Friday, October 15, or Saturday, October 16

Each artist will receive: A showcase of 20 minutes and the possibility of the presence of national and international presenters.

On the occasion of the International Conference of world music, WOMEX 27-31 October 2010, FOLQUÉBEC continues its commitment to organize the visibility and influence of artists from here and from the international scene.

FOLQUÉBEC is a non-profit organization registered in Quebec and dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of traditional folk music and dance created in Quebec.

FOLQUÉBEC invites artists this year to submit their candidature to attend WOMEX.

The jury will select three artists who will have the opportunity to play:

When: OFFWOMEX, Copenhagen, Thursday October 28 or Friday October 29 or Saturday, October 30 in a beautiful room presenting the official Showcases.

Each artist performs: a show of 45 minutes on stage Off Womex which holds 150 seats with the possibility of the presence of major international promoters.

Rappel FOLQUÉBEC est un organisme sans-but lucratif enregistré au Québec et dédié à la promotion et à la diffusion des musiques et danses folk faites au Québec.

FOLQUÉBEC invite cette année les artistes à proposer leur candidature afin de participer à Womex

Le jury sélectionnera 3 artistes, qui auront l’opportunité de jouer :

- Lors du OFFWOMEX, à Copenhague, soit le jeudi 28, ou le vendredi 29, ou le samedi 30 octobre, dans une magnifique salle où sont présentés les Showcases officiels.

Pour chaque artiste : une prestation de 45 minutes sur la scène du Off Womex 150 places et la possibilité d’une présence de diffuseurs internationaux majeurs.

L’Association Folquébec est un organisme à but non lucratif qui se consacre à «répandre la bonne nouvelle» : il existe ici une multitude de talents dont l’inspiration coule de source. Folquébec invites you to a kickoff party to celebrate our tenth anniversary. Taking place on June 2, 2010 at the Divan Orange, 4234 Saint-Laurent, Montréal, this debut celebration will share the stage with the unveiling of the 2010 lineup of Festival La Grande Rencontre, where Folquébec will present a showcase to festivalgoers and visiting presenters. The launch programme includes cocktails, the awarding of EspaceTrad’s Prix Aldor to Gilles Vigneault and Les Charbonniers de l’Enfer, and performances by Nicolas Pellerin et les Grands Hurleurs, Joaquin Diaz and Rob Lutes. Submissions : Showcase Folquébec at La Grande Rencontre

Showcase submissions for Folquébec in partnership with the festival La Grande Rencontre. Folquébec is inviting artists to submit their application to participate in the Showcases for the festival La Grande Rencontre.

A jury will select a total of 8 artists from Traditional, Folk and World Beat music, who will have the opportunity of playing :

During the festival La Grande Rencontre, in Montreal, Saturday August 7 et Sunday August 8 (afternoon performances)
Each artist chosen: will have a 30 minute showcase on the stage of Théâtre Calixa-Lavallée (Parc Lafontaine-125 places) and will have the possiblitly of presenting at a Traditional Cabaret at the Festival Club from 11pm to 2am.

Appel de candidatures pour le Showcase Folquébec, en partenariat avec le festival la Grande Rencontre. Folquébec invite cette année les artistes à proposer leur candidature afin de participer aux Showcases du Festival la Grande Rencontre. Le jury sélectionnera 8 artistes, des musiques trad, folk et musique du monde qui auront deux opportunités de jouer :

Lors du festival La Grande Rencontre, à Montréal, les samedi 7 et dimanche 8 août (après-midi);
Une prestation de 30 minutes sur la scène du Théâtre Calixa-Lavallée (Parc Lafontaine), 125 places ainsi qu’une possibilité de jouer au Cabaret Trad du Festival Club de 23h00 à 02h00 http://espacetrad.org et http://granderencontre.com
