The annual Showcase Folquébec at festival La Grande Rencontre will take place at the Centre Culturel Calixa-Lavallée in Montréal’s Parc Lafontaine on Saturday and Sunday, August 15-16, 2009. The Showcase provides an opportunity for jury-selected Québec artists to show their stuff to both festival audiences and presenters from North America and Europe, in an effort to develop new cultural markets.
