Folquébec invite cette année les artistes à proposer leur candidature afin de participer à deux séries de showcases. Le jury sélectionnera 5 artistes, qui auront l’opportunité de jouer :

• Lors du festival La Grande Rencontre, à Montréal, les samedi 15 et dimanche 16 août (après-midi). Pour chaque artiste : une prestation de 30 minutes sur la scène du Théâtre Calixa-Lavallée (Parc Lafontaine), 125 places. http://espacetrad.org et http://granderencontre.com
• Lors de la conférence annuelle OCFF (Ontario Council of Folk Festivals), le vendredi 16 octobre 2009 (midi). Pour chaque artiste : une prestation de 20 minutes dans une suite de l’hôtel Crowne Plaza à Ottawa ou se déroule l’événement. http://ocff.ca

• During the annual OCFF conference (Ontario Council of Folk Festivals), Friday, October 16, 2009 (noon). Each artist chosen will have a 20-minute showcase in a hotel suite at the Crowne Plaza in Ottawa where the OCFF takes place. http://ocff.ca
